Inherited Health is an innovative online health resource that incorporates family social networking and disease risk assessment to facilitate life-saving conversations amongst families and their doctors.

Effectively the first social network that can save your life, Inherited Health offers a secure place to collect, store and update your family health history with other family members. Our proprietary risk analysis system uses entered health information to provide each family member with a personalized view of the hereditary diseases they are more like to develop, pass down to their children, and most importantly, ways to prevent these diseases.

By providing individuals, their families, and their doctors, with the ability to access and share this critical information, Inherited Health helps everyone in the family take a proactive step in managing their health.

Inherited Health was founded in 2008 by Lee Essner (Founder and CEO) and Jordanna Joaquina (Co-Founder and Director of Genetics) after Lee sought genetic counseling from Jordanna due to a personal experience with genetic testing for a hereditary disease. While Lee was fortunate to have access to these services, the company was created to ensure others had similar access to the benefits of understanding how family health history can impact health.

We value our users and want to continue creating products that meet their needs. As such, we actively survey our users and health professionals about their experiences and satisfaction with our website. We welcome comments and feedback.

Inherited Health is headquartered in Los Angeles, California.
